California Giant Berry Farm’s/Specialized announced that brothers Yannick and Robin Eckmann, Stephen Leece and Sam Bassetti have signed onto the 2012 road team. Yannick Eckmann (Hot Tubes) continued his winning streak at USGP New Belgium Cup. American Jeff Bahnson (Van Dessel) took second and is a favorite for US Nationals. Clif Bar riders Zane Godby and Bjorn Fox split 3rd in the two races.

There was another sweep this weekend at Planet Bike Cup, Yannick Eckmann, now riding for Hot Tubes, came out all barrels firing in the Men Jr 17/18 races. The Men Junior 17/18 USGP competition concluded just as it had started, with a nail biters this past weekend at the STANLEY Portland Cup. Cody Kaiser (CalGiant) swept the weekend and Yannick Eckmann (Clif Bar Development) won the overall series. Photo Galleries.

Teammates on the Clif Bar Development team, brothers Yannick and Robin Eckmann turned heads in Colorado when they went 1-2 in the two NACT Junior races at the beginning of November. We have a new leader in the very tight race in the Men’s Jr 17-18 series of the US Gran Prix of Cyclocross. Young Yannick Eckmann (Clif Bar Development Team) discovered that he loves the mud at this weekend’s Mercer Cup Races as the almost 16 year old swept the two races to take over the lead of the USGP series.
