A total of 28 UCI Women’s Teams are registered for the 2011 season, an increment of one compared to last year and include three from the United States, Diadora-Pasta Zara, HTC-High Road and TIBCO-To The Top and one from Canada, Juvederm-Specialized.

The UCI finally announced the list of teams registered in the first division, known as ProTeams, for 2011. The USA will have 4 teams at the highest level, Garmin-Cervélo, RadioShack, HTC & BMC and both Geox-TMC (Spain) and Cofidis Le Crédit en ligne (France) were denied ProTeams status and relegated to ProContinental. Radios banned for NRC races

Earlier today, USA Cycling sent out a release that clearly stated that radios will now be banned in all USA Cycling road and track races which means all NRC races and most of the UCI races. Only 5 road races in North America will not be impacted by the ban: Amgen Tour of California, Philadelphia International Championships, Tour of Missouri, le Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec and le Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal.
