In a show of force and humor, young Alex Howes of the Felt-Holowesko Partners-Garmin team, the U23 development arm of the Slipstream organization, grabbed a hot dog and attacked the dwindling break at the bottom of the final brutal climb up to Snowbird and soloed away for the win at the Queen stage of the Larry H Miller Tour of Utah.
