Hanson Repeats At San Rafael Twilight Crit

Ken Hanson (Team Type 1) emerged from the dark and outsprinted Rahsaan Bahati (Bahati Foundation) and US National Elite Crit Champion Steve Reaney (CalGiant) to win the San Rafael Twilight Crit. That makes it two years in a row for Hanson.

Bahati Foundation sweeps Merco Downtown Grand Prix

With two of the top sprinters in North America, the Bahati Foundation Pro Cycling Team executed perfect tactics at the Merco Downtown Criterium and swept the podium putting Matty Rice on the top step. Rahsaan Bahati was second and Hilton Clarke third. Updated with photo gallery.

Earlier today, the Bahati Foundation Pro Cycling Team released its roster for the 2010 season. The team is one of three new UCI Continental Men’s teams registered with USA Cycling for 2010, the other new teams are Adageo Energy Pro Cycling and Team Hotel San Jose.

Rivera and Hanson win San Rafael Twilight Crit

The lineup promised to deliver exiting racing and the raucous and appreciative crowd was not disappointed last Saturday night at the 11th Annual San Rafael Twilight Criterium. Not only were they (and I) witness to aggressive riding under the fading sun and then stars but we also got a two rainbows and a fabulous sunset. What more can a girl ask for? With photos.

Olds and Huff win omnium at Tulsa Tough

Hot weather, large crowds, fast racing and crashes – especially in the women’s races – over the weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma as NRC points and big money were on the line at the 3 criteriums in 3 days of racing at the Tulsa Tough p/b The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis. Jelly Belly’s Brad Hiff and Proman’s Shelley Olds won the omnium title.
