Driscoll counting on his boys in green to defend USGP lead

The boys in green came out of the Louisville races with another win, more podium finishes and the USGP lead halfway through the series. Somewhat surprisingly, the leader’s jersey is not on defending champion Tim Johnson’s back but on his young teammate’s, Jamey Driscoll who is tied on points in a battle with US Cross Champion Ryan Trebon of the KONA squad.

USGP Louisville Day 2 Podium

Men’s Elite podium ceremony of Day 2 of Derby City Cup of the US Gran Prix of Cyclocross (USGP) in Louisville, KY. The defending USGP champions Katerina Nash (Luna Chix) and Ryan Trebon (KONA) took the win and the Series Leader’s jerseys at Day One of the USGP Derby City Cup in Louisville, Kentucky. Nash rode away from the field to solo to victory while Trebon fought until the end taking a 2-up sprint against Jamey Driscoll (Cannondale-Cyclocrossworld.com) for the win.
