Driscoll counting on his boys in green to defend USGP lead

The boys in green came out of the Louisville races with another win, more podium finishes and the USGP lead halfway through the series. Somewhat surprisingly, the leader’s jersey is not on defending champion Tim Johnson’s back but on his young teammate’s, Jamey Driscoll who is tied on points in a battle with US Cross Champion Ryan Trebon of the KONA squad.

Compton and Powers sweep UCI3 weekend

While Katie Compton (Planet Bike/Stevens) continued her domination in the final race Cincinnati UCI3 Cyclocross Festival, the Cincinnati UCI3 Harbin Park presented by Biowheels and United Dairy Farmers, it was “battle royale” in the men’s race. Jeremy Powers (Cannondale/Cyclocrossworld.com) and Ryan Trebon (KONA) went head to head, or is that mano a mano, for most of the race. Each marking the other until the final turn when Powers hit it and sprinted to victory making it a sweep for the 3-race series. With Photos.
