Bahati Foundation Team Continuing On

The famous Mark Twain quote – “the reports of my death are greatly exaggerated” – is quite appropriate for the Bahati Foundation Cycling Team today. Rumors have been swirling about the team folding following Floyd Landis statements but the team is continuing on without its co-sponsor.

Jorge Alvarado killed during training ride

Such sad news. Rider for the Bahati Foundation Cycling team, Jorge Alvarado was killed yesterday in San Bernardino County, California while out on a training ride. The 27-year old, originally from Mexico, had joined the team as an amateur earlier this year after racing many years with Kahala-LaGrange.
