Cantwell wins chaotic Dana Point Grand Prix

Jonathan Cantwell (Fly V Australia) came out the victor of the physical and chaotic Dana Point Grand Prix earlier today. Brothers Alejandro and Anibal Borrajo (Jamis/Sutter Home) were a close second and third in the final bunch sprint. Kendall Ryan (Now-MS Society) outsprinted Maria Lechuga (Helen’s) and Coryn Rivera (Peanut Butter Co TWENTY12) to win the women’s non-NRC crit. Post-race video interviews.

KBS’ Anderson and Jazz Apple’s Ellis win Tour de Delta

The first of BC Superweek, the Tour de Delta was held over the weekend in British Columbia with youngsters winning the overall with Canadian Ryan Anderson (Kelly Benefit Strategies) and Kiwi Lauren Ellis (Jazz Apple) winning the overall general classification, along with the Best Young Rider award for the 21-year old Anderson and 20-year old Ellis.

I caught up with my fellow Canadians Svein Tuft, Cameron Evans and Andrew Pinfold of the Symmetrics team at the start of stage 4 of the Tour of Missouri.
