Exergy Tour: A New 5-Day UCI Stage Race For Women In Idaho

Great news for women cycling and for cycling overall today, the announcement of a new international ladies pro-cycling race in Idaho, scheduled for May 24-28, 2012 and is titled the Exergy Tour. The five-day race will hold a UCI 2.1 ranking.

Compton Still Leads UCI World Standings; Richey Top Canadian

Not many changes to the top of the UCI Standings following the World Cup in Igorre, Spain – for the men only – this past weekend. Katie Compton (Rabobank-Giant) still tops the Elite Women’s UCI rankings; Jeremy Powers (Rapha Focus) is top American and Craig Richey (Renner) jumps 10 spots to become top Canadian in the Elite Men’s standings.
