USA Cycling Splits NRC To Create Criterium Calendar

Yesterday, USA Cycling announced that it is taking out the criteriums out of the National Racing Calendar (NRC) to create the National Criterium Calendar (NCC) in 2012.

Holcomb Back On Top Of NRC

Janel Holcomb (Colavita/Forno d’Asolo) is back on top of NRC women’s individual standings after winning Cascade Cycling Classic. Francisco Mancebo (Realcyclist.com) remains the NRC leader after claiming his third NRC stage race. Bissell and Colavita/Forno d’Asolo increased its lead in the team standings.
