CalGiant & Specialized are taking their winning combination and tradition into the 2011 Professional Mountain Bike Season. This marks the first time the two have joined forces to support a Mountain Bike Team. The Team will feature three of the top athletes from the Cal Giant/Specialized Elite Cyclocross Team: Cody Kaiser racing U23, Nick Weighall in the Elite Men category and Meredith Miller racing Elite Women. All three have won National Championships and have competed at the highest levels internationally.

The California Giant sponsored Cycling Team trains and races all year supporting fitness and exercise as an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. The Team will be riding 2011 Specialized Products including S-Works Epics for Short Track & Cross Country, S-Works Stumpjumpers & Enduros for Super D, S-Works Prevail Helmets, S-Works MTB Shoes. Most of the Team will compete in a full schedule of Short Track, Cross Country, and Super D races across the country. The season kicked off this week with a training camp in Northern California followed by the first race of the USA Cycling Pro XCT race series at Bonelli in Southern California, March 12th.
