USA, 13 March – As an important lead in to the start of the US season proper, Fly V Australia fast men, Jonathan Cantwell and Aaron Kemps delivered impressive performances Saturday at separate events.

Australia Crit Champion Aaron Kemps
Kemps won the Boulder CO; criterium his first criterium win as wearer of the Australian Criterium champion’s jersey.
“To get my first win as Aussie crit champ is a strong milestone and one that I will not forget.” Said Kemps.
Cantwell and his two Teammates (Alessandro Bazzana and Bernie Sulzberger) had their work cut out against the bigger teams that had full 8-man rosters.
Sulzberger and Bazzana played a perfect role by placing themselves in the dangerous break that was caught with about two laps remaining. Cantwell said, “Sulzbeger and Bazzana were super aggressive during the race and made a decisive break and only got caught with 2 laps to go. Coming into the final lap I had good position behind United Health Net and I lead out with about 250m to go which is normally a little early but I needed to get the early jump on them so I didn’t get caught behind any riders and it worked perfect. Great job Bernie and Alessandro.”
