A closer look at the 2010 NRC

Last week, USA Cycling published the 2010 USA Cycling National Racing Calendar (NRC) with 27 events total, where 15 are criteriums and 8 are multi-day stage rages. Last year, the initial NRC had 34 events, but as races were canceled throughout the year, only 26 events were finally completed. The 2010 includes 8 men’s-only and 2 women’s-only events.

Team Rubicon in search for title sponsor for UCI Continental Team

Team Rubicon-ORBEA, presently known as Land Rover-ORBEA; Benefiting the Lance Armstrong Foundation, a first year UCI continental team, is in search of a title sponsor. Rubicon’s two-year partnership with Land Rover will end December 31st, 2009.

Cross Weekend Update

What an amazing weekend for the Cannondale-Cyclocrossworld.com team, Jeremy Powers, Tim Johnson and Jamey Driscoll as they swept the 5 UCI cross races that were held this past weekend. Katie Compton (Planet Bike) continued her domination while Katerina Nash (Luna Chix) swept in Providence. Up in Canada, Maxxis-Rocky Mountain had a great day at the Canadian Cross Champs as Geoff Kabush repeated, and Alison Sydor won the women’s title.
