Transfer-o-rama

UPDATE: The transfer-o-rama has moved.
Here we go, the first draft of the men’s 2009-2010 Transfer-o-rama for men’s UCI registered teams in USA and Canada. Pretty sparse so far, tell me what you’ve got! Oh and as always, take these with a grain salt.
Italics are used to identify unconfirmed status.

Michael Barry has announced that he is leaving Columbia, though no news on where he is headed. He states “it was time to experience something new, in a developing team”
I thought he would follow Hincapie to BMC but he might be headed to SKY. Time will tell.

Looks like 11 US-registered continental teams for 2010:
1. Bissell Pro Cycling
2. Jamis/Sutter Home presented by Colavita
3. Jelly Belly Cycling Team
4. Kelly Benefit Strategies
5. Kenda/Travelers Pro Cycling benefitting Texas Tough
6. Adageo Energy Pro Cycling
7. Team Mountain Khakis fueled by Jittery Joe’s
8. Team Type 1
9. Transcend Sports
10. Trek LIVESTRONG U23 Cycling Team presented by RadioShack
11. UnitedHealthcare presented by Maxxis
I know something
30. Oct, 2009
Its Kenda Pro Cycling p/b Gear Grinder, not Kenda/Travelers benefitting TX Tough (per in the know, coming from a provisional list to the pro teams and not the public). I hear an Italian may be heading there, too. And, Aledia, Baldesare, Harper are Elite riders, not pros on their [Kenda] team. Monteleone is also a returning member, not a new addition. They have 14 riders of the 16 at the moment per their [Kenda] website.
Heard Khakis has Jittery Joe’s as presenting sponsor. They have Hekman, Meyerson and have also hired Matt Cooke.
DLP is gonzo.
Love your site.
Wish I knew it all

NRC will be nice in 2010. I guess will be another battle between Ouch, Bissell and COlavita.
Too many one day races will help Colavita I think.
