Wish I'd read this before running across Creed at Interbike and just walking right by him. Woulda totally blown him on the spot. Awesome interview.

NickB you may want to improve the reading skills a bit.
This guy is cool and is even funnier in person.
Some people just don't get it, don't feel bad.

Great read. Love the option to read or not read, listen or not listen. People who only want their cycling coverage from Bicycling Magazine (or worse) still have that option. Thanks, Lyne.

The Creed interview was great, the anonymous tipster guy by his post proved exactly Creed's point about some cycling fans.
He calls a 23 time national champion that has ridden all over Europe and on the biggest and baddest teams a middle of the pack domestic rider. Only to prove again the points he made in his interview. Very candid and honest interview minus the standby PR dribble and canned responses from Pro Cyclist that bores us to death and makes you want to scream. Watched him for years and have always admired his attacking and ability to read a race and to animate the race. Good luck to him and thans for the interview.

Good interview, but his declaration that a non-pro cyclist can't have a legitimate, thoughtful opinion about a race, etc. is wrong.

riiiight, all the Euro pros are so insightful and interesting. I've never EVER read an interview with a Euro pro that was either interesting or insightful. I doubt you could possibly be dumber than you were before reading the interview.
