Both the women’s and men’s races came down to a final bunch sprint, and Ina-Yoko Teutenberg (Columbia-High Road) did it again, taking the win ahead of Tina Pic (Colavita/Suttter Home) and Gina Grain (Webcor). Amber Neben (Nurnberger Shoair) is still in the lead with a slim marging over Teutenberg who grabbed a 10 sec time bonus with her win. Teutenberg also increased her lead in the sprints competition.

BMC, BMC and more BMC. After his team controlled the 90-minute criterium, BMC’s Jackson Stewart came out of the crashed-marred final lap in fourth wheel and outsprinted everyone for the win. Canadian Andrew Pinfold (Ouch) was second, and Stewart’s teammate Brent Bookwalter was third. Jeff Louder (BMC) and his team also successfully defended the yellow jersey with one more stage to go, the very hard Sunset Loop. Kyle Walmsey (Colavita/Sutter Home) is the new leader of the sprints competition and will wear the green jersey tomorrow.
